In accordance with Article 7(27) of the NPP Constitution, the Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency has held its CDC in the constituency at two different centers , Jukwa and Hemang.
The Conference which was attended by most polling station executives, all Constituency Executives was also graced by the immediate past Deputy Regional Minister: Hon. Thomas Adjei Baffoe; Regional YEA Director and Regional Assistant Secretary, Central Region: Hon. Sarah Afful and, Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour Relations: Hon. Lawyer Bright Wireko-Brobby.
In his welcome address, Constituency Chairman: Hon. Terry Timothy Tweneboah thanked the entire polling station executives for their role in ensuring victory both in the 2020 parliamentary and presidential elections. Hon. T. T, further admonished the team to work hard to ensure perpetual victory for the NPP in elections 2024.
On his part, Hon. Adjei Baffoe asked the members present to be loving, united and eschew every ethnocentrism which does not augur well for party fortunes. He told the people members that they should do well to assist the MP and deputy minister of Employment and Labour Relations as he is a strategic politician who can really assist the fortunes of the party by winning the seat come 2024 and beyond for the NPP.
Hon. Lawyer Bright Wireko-Brobby thanked all the party members present and those absent for working tirelessly to ensure his victory and that of the party in the 2020 elections. He again rewarded them (as he has already met them in the previous months with handsome rewards). He however, tasked every party member to start working hard towards 2024 elections and have a renewal of mind as being a servant in a ruling party is far better than being the Chairman of an opposition party.
He outlined some feats he has chalked such as the building of teachers bungalows in both Jukwa SHTS and Hemang SHTS; Supply of laptop computers to the CHPS compound in the Constituency; completion of the of the Jukwa market, Jukwa Sefwi bridge and road construction, etc. He also hinted of building of a modern ICT laboratories for both Jukwa SHTS and Hemang SHTS.
The program ended at Hemang where delegates were enthused to go all out to ensure victory for the NPP in both parliamentary and presidential elections in 2024 and beyond.
