Illinois Primary Election 2022 Update and Candidates

Republican Mary Miller from District 15 was recently caught thanking people for saving “White Lives”. The moment made national news. Considering, she never attempted to correct the statement. As well as Miller quoted Hitler back in 2020. The only democrat running against her is Paul Lange.

Polls close at 7 p.m cst.

Candidate concerns weigh heavy due to Roe v Wade overturn. As well as the issue with gun control.

Other Democrats in Republica majority counties who show active support women rights include, Homer Markel. He wrote, Overturning Roe vs Wade and eliminating legal protections for safe access to abortion will have far-reaching consequences for many Americans. We cannot say we stand for liberty and freedom if we cannot protect our citizens from this kind of overreach.

District 16 currently has zero Democratic candidates running.
