Kanye West Hints On Potential Performance In Lagos As Part Of His Tour

Nigeria is on the list of places that American rapper Kanye West would visit on his “Vultures” world tour. Yeezy is scheduled to re-lease the first part of his album, which is a joint project with Ty Dolla $ign. The release dates for the final two installments are set for March 8 and April 5, respectively.

The 46-year-old shared a series of spreadsheet with a list of all the nations he will be visiting in 2024 and 2025 on his Instagram story. The tour itinerary includes Lagos, a state in Nigeria as one of the places to be visited, with Eko Energy City mentioned as the location.

Nairobi, Kenya, and Cairo, Egypt are two more African cities and nations on the probable tour itinerary.

The release of “Vultures” has been teased by West and Ty Dolla $ign since August 2023. The rappers have scheduled various dates for the album’s release throughout the previous few months, but they haven’t delivered the projects on time.

Should Kanye West include a stop in Lagos on his tour in 2024, it would mark his second appearance in the economic and cultural center of West Africa and Nigeria’s commercial metropolis. The singer was one of the international acts that took the stage at the 2007 Mega Star Jam. In 2011, D’Banj was also added to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label.
