    Meghan Markle Donated to Uvalde Texas and Laid Flowers for Victims

    Meghan Markle spotted laying flowers at memorial in Uvalde Texas

    On Thursday, Meghan Markle visited Uvalde Texas. She donated to community centers and laid flowers at the memorial for victims of Robb Elementary school.

    BuzzFeed News spoke with volunteers at the Herby Ham Activity Center. The center accepted the duchess’s donations.  According to blood drive volunteers, the philanthropist and Duchess of Sussex, sported a baseball cap and a black mask. Staff said she quietly dropped by the community center’s kitchen. The duchess dropped off two “large” crates filled with sandwiches, beverages, and desserts for blood donors.

    Gloria Contreras, 40, A volunteer at the center spoke to Buzzfeed saying, “I had no idea who she was. She just was carrying on a conversation like her and I knew each other for years”.

    As well as stating, “We were just talking about, you know, the situation and what happened what we were doing here. I told her about us giving out water to the people and feeding them”.

    “I even talked about my personal life, telling her about my son and my family”. She continued, “you know, coming to Texas because she told me she was from Santa Barbara”. ‘Well, you need to come to Texas!'” additionally stated.

    “We were talking about Texas and Uvalde and how it is to be in a small town and how everybody is so kind and warm-hearted and know we know each other and stuff and how the faith is deep-rooted.”

    A spokesperson said Markle was there “in a personal capacity as a mother, to offer her condolences and support in person to a community experiencing unimaginable grief.”

    Markle regularly donates and advocates for children. The Bench author as well as mom, frequently visits students. During 2021 Harry and Markle met with kids in Harlem, at PS 123. The school that services 12 shelters. let’s not forget the huge hug she received from a Britain high school student in 2020 during her visit to Robert Clack Upper School in London.
