Nicki gave birth Wednesday in L.A. The gender of the baby is not announced through TMZ as they have stated they have not been provided with the gender.
Nevertheless Nicki Minaj may have given us a clue.
Nicki posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “ummm this boy is mad cute, I’m in love.”
Looks like Nicki Minaj is a boy mom and who could blame her. If he looks like Nicki she will have girl problems for real.
Nicki announced her pregnancy back in July, posting a series of photos showing her looking at least 6 months along and captioning one post, “#Preggers.” She did the photoshoot with famed photographer David LaChappelle.
However, this is not Nicki Minaj’s first pregnancy as she has spoken out about being pregnant as a teen.
Nicki has been anticipating the moment she could become a mom after focusing on her career. She stated in an interview that having an abortion haunted her for years.
In her interview with Rolling Stone, she stated she thought “was going to die.”
“I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I’d ever gone through,” she continued. Minaj became pregnant when dating her first love, an older guy from Queens, N.Y., while attending Manhattan’s LaGuardia High School.
The decision to abort has “haunted me all my life,” but she stands behind her decision: “It’d be contradictory if I said I wasn’t pro-choice. I wasn’t ready. I didn’t have anything to offer a child.”
Now that she has made a stable career for herself, became a wife, Nicki has been showing off baby gifts that also give clue to a “baby boy”.
Kenneth was right alongside Nicki when she gave birth.
Kenneth and Nicki share many moments together. The two were childhood friends.
