Nicki Minaj trends on Twitter for the hashtag, no Grammy for Granny being snubbed for a nomination. The record-breaking artist recently went into a Twitter dispute with The Big Energy artist Latto over songs aloud in the rap category.
“I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated fairly,” she tweeted. “If SFG has 2B moved out then so does Big Energy!”
Latto spotted the Tweet and responded saying, “Damn I can’t win for losing… all these awards/noms I can’t even celebrate.”
The two went back and forth, but Nicki has since then deleted her Tweets.
Even though Mrs. Petty didn’t get nominated for a Grammy she took home double at the EMA awards. The Freaky Girl artist was presented with the Best Song and Best Hip Hop, while the night’s presenter Rita took the acclaim of Best Look Personal Style.
It’s like the classic you don’t have to win them all. The 39-year-old shared the good news the other day about winning best hip hop at the EMA’s on November 13th, 2022. She also stated that it was the most historic event that had ever happened in her life.
