Some of you may not be aware of this X-Factor star Rebecca Ferguson. She appeared on X-Factor in 2013. She just released an album October 14, 2016 titled “Superwoman” , seems as though she is living up to that name. Her song “Strange Fruit” has been deemed so controversial that it has been banned from the United States. The song tells a story of African American lynchings in the 20th century. While excited about the news of performing for Trump Rebecca has noted that those privileges will not come without introduction to this controversial song. Rebecca is not completely new to the music scene, although her performance would make her more popular in the U.S, she has had previously released albums. 2011 “Heaven”, 2015 “Lady Sings the Blues”, 2013 “Freedom”.
