Serena Williams wins a double win for donating and raising funds to aid Australia. Williams won the ASB Classic Match against American tennis player Jessica Pegula in Auckland, New Zealand in a 6–3, 6–4 match. It’s been a good three years, but 2020 manifestations won’t let money go into the wrong hands. Earlier this week, Serena announced she would be donating all of the prize money to Australian bushfire relief efforts.
More than 2,500 homes have been destroyed since the blazes began … with the fire killing at least 28 people. Serena’s efforts are not going alone. Roger Federer joined forces with Williams to aid the disaster.
With the Australian Open set to kick off next week … more players are joining forces. This includes Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
The force of Serena doesn’t just stop there. Serena’s manifestations have been taking off. She recently announced her partnership with Amazon. Serena has opened her own Amazon store offering all of the things she loves. Serena captioned a photo on Instagram saying “in 2020 anything is possible. It’s just all about how you set yourself up for success”. Great advice Serena Williams, We cant agree more.
