In top news, 59-year-old Bonnie Marie Vaughn of Middletown Ohio reportedly killed her partner, Jeffery Fellman. After the killing she then recruited his daughter’s boyfriend, 33-year-old John Havens, to aid in getting rid of the body.
According to Law and Crime, officials learned about the act after Fellman’s daughter’s boyfriend confessed to police.
Havens walked into Middletown police headquarters and revealed he had disposed of the body. He alleged that the woman fatally shot her partner, Jeffrey Fellman.
He went on to reveal that the woman picked him up and requested that he help her get rid of the body, reports Dayton Daily News. When he arrived at the Stone Path home, where the murder took place, he discovered the man’s body in the garage. Havens admitted to dismembering the body with a hand saw he took from the garage.
Officials discovered the body when they arrived at Fellman’s home.
Although Vaughn fled the scene, she was arrested and charged with murder. Havens have been accused of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence,
reports say.
Vaughn allegedly admitted that she shot and killed her husband on Monday in the garage of the home at 5635 Stone Path Drive, according to authorities cited in a Journal-News report. Investigators are still trying to determine if the couple were actually married, said Acting Middletown Police Chief Eric Crank. He did indicate the two were in a “domestic relationship.”
One neighbor sought an alarm when she saw the garage door of Bonnie Marie Vaughn down. Nevertheless, the top news shocked neighbors.
Another neighbor, Tamela Kerns told WRKC that she couldn’t believe it. “I mean, I’m just shocked because, like, we’re just in our house, you know, not knowing something like that is happening right across the street from us. It’s sad. I feel bad for all of them.”
