Nigerian millionaire afrobeats singer, Davido, is donating a whopping 250 million naira to orphanages in Nigeria.
The orphanages to benefit from the donation spread across Africa’s most populous nation, according to Davido.
The 250 million naira was raised through donations on Davido’s 28th birthday after he shared his account details asking his fans and Nigeria’s richest folks to donate towards his birthday celebration.

Davido was born David Adedeji Adeleke, on November 21, 1992 (age 28).
In a post on Instagram on Saturday, November 20, 2021, Davido says he deemed it right to give back to society.
“I have always been passionate about giving back and helping people,” the ‘Assurance’ hitmaker wrote in his statement obtained by African Entertainment.
“In view of this, I am delighted to announce that all the funds received, totalling NGN 250,000,000 will be donated to orphanages across Nigeria as well as the Paroche Foundation.”
The award-winning musician said he has set up a five member committee to oversee the disbursement of the fund.
