    13 civilians murdered in fights in Central African Republic


     

    At least 13 civilians have been reported dead in clashes in the Central African Republic (CAR).

    The United Nations Peacekeeping mission in CAR made this known.

    According to the Minusca mission, it “found 13 lifeless bodies” in Bongboto, about 300km (186 miles) from the capital Bangui.”

    In a statement, the mission indicated that it would establish facts on “this unfortunate incident”.

    It added that will ensure that the suspects are brought to justice for the crimes.

    CAR has since 2013 been facing crisis. The crisis started when  Muslim rebels from the Seleka umbrella group seized power in the majority Christian nation.
