Actress Naya Rivera has been presumed dead. Naya had recently posted a photo of her and her four year old son who joined her on a boat ride. The four year old was found asleep and alive in good health according to reports, however the search went on for Naya until rescuers called it a night.
The life jacket of Naya Rivera was still on the boat. She went missing in water with only 5 to 9 inches of visibility, and authorities say the lake is filled with trees and debris on the bottom. Law enforcement says it typically takes 7 to 10 days for a body to rise to the surface.
According to TMZ, Divers immediately started searching the lake, but so far there’s no sign of the “Glee” star. The search was suspended due to nightfall, but it’s expected to resume Thursday, shortly after sunrise.
Stars and family quickly went to her latest Instagram post commenting for support and prayers.
Tamera Mowry Housley is one of Naya’s close friends. She posted prayers for Naya and her family on her Instagram timeline, and under Naya’s post she placed broken heart Emojis.
Todrick Hall, along with Angelina from MTV also posted for prayers for Naya.
Naya Rivera has been mostly known for her role on Glee, but has also starred in The Royal Family in the 90’s, The Master of Disguise in 2002, and many more.
Naya recently divorced from husband Ryan Dorsey in 2018 and dated rapper Big Sean and comedian David Spade.
