Newly promoted Premier League club, Brentford FC have secured their first major victory of the 2021/2022 season.
Brentford hosted Arsenal in their English Premier League (EPL) opener on Saturday night, August 13, 2021, and produced a convincing 2-0 victory.
The Gunners seemed to be back with the same poor form they put up last season.
S. Canos scored in the 22nd minute to give Brentford the lead.
In the 73rd minute, C. Norgaard wrapped up the match with the second goal of the night.
Arsenal will host Brentford in the second leg on February 19, 2022.
