At least two persons have died on the spot in a car crash along the Kintampo-Tamale Highway in Ghana.
Information available to African Entertainment indicates that some 30 passengers also sustained various degrees of injuries.
The crash happened at Soronoase around 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. That was after a tractor driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.
An eyewitness account suggests that the Mercedes Benz Sprinted bus, a commercial vehicle, was heading towards Sunyani from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
“A tyre of the tractor ahead came off and collided with the bus, whose driver tried unsuccessfully to maneuver out of its trajectory,” according to an eyewitness.
African Entertainment understands the those who got injured were rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman and the Kintampo Municipal Hospital.
