Tik Tok Doesn’t Get Drake On New Album Honestly Nevermind

Tik Tok doesn’t get the motive behind Drake on new album ‘Honestly Nevermind’. The album surprisingly dropped on Friday June 17th CSD. Although, news acclaimed the album as Apple Music’s biggest dance album in history by breaking the platform’s record for first-day streams worldwide, others expressed the vibe indifferently.

Not at all what people expected from Drake on new album. The majority of the songs sound like island vibe dance music. Even for some to consider the tracks as house music, deems not suitable. Just so you get an idea, the albums vibes seem more suitable for a spa day or shopping.

Sort of like one of those days you lay down to relax and meditate. But nothing more for the majority of it. However, the very last song featuring 21Savage sounds more like Octobers Very Own Drake.

‘Honestly, Nevermind’ is the 35-year-old rapper’s seventh studio album to date, totalling 14 tracks. But honestly, he only featured one artist, that was 21. What was the reason as Cardi B once said.

The album title in itself, says much. Like, who says honestly nevermind anyway? We’ll answer. Someone in a world of their own. Since Drake recorded 13 out of 14 tracks himself, seems fit to the title.

The mall minded tracks, Tik Tok memes featured ‘Forever 21 stores, and H&M. Elevator music possibly. But the one smart thing we can say, is that elevator music never dies. This may be one of Drake’s smartest moves. Creating a somewhat evergreen album.

The Champagne Papi responded to social media remarks. Last night, at what looks like a release party for Honestly, Nevermind, the Canadian rapper addressed the haters in an Instagram video. “It’s all good if you don’t get it yet. It’s all good,” Drake said, as “Calling My Name” played in the club. “That’s what we do. We wait for you to catch up. We’re in here, though. We’re caught up already. On to the next. My goodness.”
