Trevor Noah Returning – The Music news

Trevor Noah may no longer be The Daily Show host, but it looks like the comedian has found a somewhat steady gig elsewhere.

Noah will return as the Grammy Awards host for the fourth time in a row at the Recording Academy’s annual awards show in February. He will also serve as a producer on the show.

The former Daily Show host broke the news on his podcast late Wednesday. “I’m excited about that,” he said on What Now? With Trevor Noah. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then just experience and comment on it in person while it is happening.”

The Grammys announced the nominees on Nov. 10 for the 66th annual show. SZA led the noms with nine, while Victoria Monét earned seven, and Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo each scored six. The “Anti-Hero” singer could potentially make history as the first performer to win album of the year four times if she takes home the trophy for Midnights.

In addition to his podcast, Noah was also just recognized in the Golden Globes’ new category best performance in a stand-up comedy on television for his new special, Trevor Noah: Where Was I. He was nominated alongside Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman and Wanda Sykes.

Fulwell 73 Productions will produce the awards show for the Recording Academy for the fourth consecutive year, with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers.

The Grammys will be broadcast live on CBS and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+ on Feb. 4, 2024.
