Rumors had it that Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj was going to drop a collab.
However, Nicki Minaj had announced that she did not have a collab in works with the artist.
“I don’t have a collab coming with anyone. Onika mode. Love You.” She placed a heart next to the comment as a token of love. Seems like there is no hate between the two, Nicki Minaj is just working in her own creative space.
Coi put out her first single of 2022, “Anxiety.” She also went on to preview a new song that she has in the stash, with Chief Keef. Last week though, Coi took to Twitter to reveal that she is taking a break for herself and doesn’t know when she will return.
Coi Leray became one of the biggest breakout stars in celebrity news and gossip in 2021, but not without trials and tribulations. Leroy addressed some of the trials in her life saying “The love use to outweigh the hate but now the hate outweigh the love and it’s slowing destroying me,” she wrote. “Y’all haters are in my life for a reason, we gon have to just deal with each other. In with what-ever smoke.”
At that moment Nicki Minaj was quick to encourage her saying, “Don’t do that. Chin up. Always remember this, when black ppl not fkn w|you #TheyWillBoo,” Minaj wrote. “Those ppl were on their feet. That means they may not have known the song, but they were interested in getting to know more— so they were observing u. Charge it to the game & move on.”
The two artist have now posted to Instagram that their collab video has dropped.
Minaj even captured on of her post saying, pleasure working with you liddle sista.
She followed it with a hashtag #nicoiminaj, a blend of Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj.
Leray also posted to her Instagram saying, THATS MY TWINNEM.
