    Ohio State Fan Shot And Robbed In Car Begs For Help At A Near By Home

    Anthony, an Ohio state fan was shot after he was caught sleeping in his vehicle by teens in the area. When Anthony thought he would fall asleep in his car after leaving the apartment with his girlfriend due to an argument, he sadly woke up to three juveniles making him drive to an atm and empty out his money.

    According to documents, A man wearing a ski mask knocked on the window and told the victim he was parked in his assigned parking space. When the victim partially rolled down his car window, the masked man pointed a pistol at his head and ordered him to get out of the car, documents said. Allegedly, two other men wearing masks got into the car, and they drove the football fan to an ATM and forced him to take out money.

    According to reports, After the ATM withdrawal, the suspects drove the victim to a location in Peoria and ordered him to get out of his car and walk away backwards, and he did as he was told. When the Ohio State fan saw one of the men point the pistol at him, he ran.

    Six to eight gun shots were heard. Anthony felt one hit him in the lower back. Quickly thinking, Anthony ran to a near by home. He rang the doorbell asking for help. The resident of the home did not open the door, in fear for his own family. However, he did dial 911.

    The robbers were caught be cell phone tracing of Anthony’s phone which was still in his stolen vehicle.

    According to reports, Two of the three suspects are juveniles — ages 16 and 17 — and were arrested on charges including kidnapping and armed robbery, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The third suspect, Roderick Smith, 18, was arrested on charges including kidnapping, armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

    the court documents stated that, In an interview with police, Smith said he was in the driver’s seat looking straight ahead when he heard several gunshots. Smith is due in court Jan. 6 for a status conference and Jan. 9 for a preliminary hearing.
